Reserve Answer
Reserve takes an answer from Ask and pins it as a reference point. A reserved answer captures exactly which sources supported it, when it was generated, and at what confidence level. This becomes the baseline that Watch monitors for changes.
When you reserve an answer, VaultCrux fingerprints every contributing source chunk. If any of those sources change later, Watch will detect the divergence and alert you. This turns a point-in-time answer into a living reference that stays honest about its own freshness.
Reserved answers can be shared with team members as stable references. Each reserved answer has a unique identifier that other tools and workflows can reference. When an agent or team member needs to build on previous work, they can check whether the reserved answer is still current before proceeding.
You can reserve answers at any audit level. A light reservation captures basic source fingerprints. A verified reservation includes a proof receipt. An audit reservation produces a full cryptographic proof chain that can be shared externally for independent verification.
