What changes by tier

The safe local baseline stays free. Paid tiers add context depth, collaboration, managed memory, and deployment support.

The packaging line

Free is the trustworthy local foundation. Pro is the agent productivity layer. Max is private infrastructure.

Crux stays free and local

The free daemon should remain trustworthy. Correctness, tenant boundaries, private visibility, receipts, and local control are not paywalled.

Pro sells leverage

Pro is where the paid workbench belongs: MemoryCrux, agent briefs, impact checks, command history, handoff, first-party enrichment, policy simulation, and collaboration.

Max sells deployment depth

Max is for customers who need the Pro stack placed on private infrastructure with onsite GPUs, backup design, runbooks, and hands-on deployment support.

Pro is where agents start compounding context

The daemon gives every agent a safe local base. Pro adds persistent work memory, team coordination, audit triage, first-party enrichment, and context assembly that stop serious jobs from restarting cold.

Frequently asked questions

Is the free Crux daemon limited for safety?

No. Correctness, local control, tenant boundaries, passport-private visibility, approval checks, and receipts belong in the free local baseline. Paid tiers add richer context and managed workflow surfaces.

Does Pro include collaboration and governance?

Yes. Seats, shared decisions, Handoff v2, SSO/RBAC, central audit retention, business tenants, and pooled credits sit inside Pro rather than a separate Team plan.

Is MemoryCrux included?

Pro includes all MemoryCrux capabilities. Max includes everything in Pro plus private/on-prem memory deployment, custom retention, and deployment support.

Can I use Pro without a local daemon?

Yes. Pro supports local-first, cloud-only, and hybrid operation. You can connect systems directly to a hosted Pro store, run the local daemon with managed Pro service calls, or switch between the two without changing tenant model.

Does Pro automatically upload local memory?

No. Pro can mirror shared tenant memory down to local devices for offline work. Local private memory stays local unless you explicitly promote it or your tenant policy allows a specific collection to sync.

How do personal and business tenants separate?

Personal and business memory live in separate tenants. If someone leaves a business, the business tenant mirror can be wiped locally with a signed wipe-proof receipt while personal tenant memory remains intact.

What does deterministic replay cover?

Replay renders the stored answer and the exact evidence capsule from the original job without calling the original agent or LLM. Current validity is checked separately against superseded chunks, Living Objects, and projection module revisions.

What is Max?

Max is the private deployment tier: full onsite GPU support, private CoreCrux stack setup, private sync and backup policy, health checks, runbooks, and implementation support.

What happened to Developer, Starter, Team, and Reasoning?

They collapse into the simpler model: Crux for free local use, Pro for MemoryCrux, agent workbench, collaboration, and governance, and Max for private infrastructure and onsite GPU support.
